When he said that the river was polluted and the eco-system out of balance, she pointed out that gray goes with everything. So what if there’s only a few twigs left of the rain forest: now it matches the rest of our IKEA stuff. Since the mountain had been so mined-out that the boulders were made of Styrofoam, getting caught in the avalanche didn’t hurt that much. We changed the definition of “noise pollution” from “uproar” to “uproarious,” and now everybody is happier.

Mark Cunningham, has a new chapbook, Alphabetical Basho, out on the Beard of Bees site. He has a few books out, as well; the easiest to find is 71 Leaves, an e-book from BlazeVOX.
